The Manager/Supervisor will decide what Action To Be Taken by clicking on the drop-down menu.
The Manager/Supervisor can start a Disciplinary Misconduct case on the system for this instance of leaving early by simply selecting this alternative. A Misconduct case will automatically start and all the details of the Awol will automatically populate in the case. The case can be processed further from there.
Processing a Disciplinary Misconduct from ‘Discipline’ option
The manager will receive a notification from the erNavigator that an employee has arrived late, left early, or has not arrived at work the previous day. Once the manager has decided to Discipline the employee for this Awol event, a Disciplinary Misconduct case will be initiated automatically on the system. All the employee details will be pulled through to the Disciplinary Misconduct case and the New Misconduct Process will be initiated.
Open the employee file and click on the View Awol Calendar button under the employee file summary.
Double click on the event to open.
Click on the drop down arrow next to Action to be Taken and select the action to be taken as “Discipline’. Click on Proceed.
erNavigator will display the New Misconduct Process. The Employee Division and Employee Name has pulled through and cannot be edited.
Complete all the necessary fields. Other natures may be added. Select the Misconduct Primary Nature .
Click on Continue to initiate the case.
Complete the case and Finalise
Return to the calendar in the employee file. The entry in the calendar will display as Disciplined
