The Manager/Supervisor can mark the instance of leaving early as Closed, by changing the employee’s status. Generally used in the instances where the employee has resigned etc. and the status has not yet been updated . This Action to be Taken will allow the manager to update the employee status, if for example, the employee has resigned.
If the employee has resigned, the system will change the status in the employee record. Awol records will no longer be imported for that specific employee.
Click in the field next to Reason For Status Change. Type in why the employee status must be changed.
To return to the calendar, click on Save to save the record and Close to return to the Calendar. The entry in the calendar will then display as Status Changed.
The system will automatically update the status of the employee file accordingly.
